After tiring yet enchanting land tour we proceed to Mambukal Resort.
From The Ruins we rode a tricycle going to the highway then jeep to Mambukal Terminal. Lastly, a bus going to Mambukal Resort. Its a long 1.5 hour ride and what made us feel more excited is the bus we’re going to ride on. (you can also take a cab for your convenience but will cost you 800 one way)
though its a long ride, its a fun ride because you can see the beauty of Negros from within. Alot of beautiful scenery you can glimpse while on the road.
Upon arrival Mambukal has 50php entrance fee even though you will stay overnight. Ours is a Matrimonial room, 900/night. without tv, but its okay, more relaxing. Plus 200 deposit for each towels and 200 deposit for the key – deposits are refundable upon check out
We dropped our things and rest for 15mins. Then we check what’s the whole resort has to offer us. See list of activities and rates here.
We checked out the Canopy walk but no guide to assist us. We checked the wall climbing too but its under maintenance. 😦 Jomz is about to cry na nga eh, haha,.
We decided to have our snack first. we tried their batchoy and inasal again, hehe.
Then swim in their large pool, fee is 50/head but you can use unli for as long as you’re checked in.
They also have 2 sulfuric pool, you can choose where to dip, depends on how much heat you can endure. another fee of course of 50/head.
We also bought Mickey Mouse plants for our house.
They also had spa where you can have massage or other relaxing treatment you want. But we didn’t try it coz we need to wake up early the next day for our 7 falls hiking. But looks so relaxing though,.
Around 6PM, we decided to rest, we asked one store to prepare our dinner while cleaning ourselves (multi tasking). We had a quick dinner while waiting for our friends to arrive, had our quick chat for what will happen for our 2nd day then rest.
Here’s our expenses for this trip:
